Welcome to A Child’s View Learning Centre

We will install a sense of confidence, responsibility, and respect in your child while also helping them to appreciate Canada’s diverse cultures. A Child’s View Learning Centre will work with your child, nourishing their mind, body, and soul through engaging activities. And, of course, there are nutritious snacks; we provide breakfast, a hot lunch, and an afternoon snack.

We offer daycare in Calgary for children from 3 months to 12 years of age. Our centre includes an outdoor, spacious playground, separate for each age group. We also offer a preschool program to prepare our pre-Kindergarten children academically and emotionally for school as well as many of our children then graduate to our before- and after-school programs.

We offer your child a learning environment while promoting social skills and fostering emotional growth. A Trusted Baby Nursery

Our nursery school (for ages 6 weeks to 8 months) creates a nurturing environment for every child and encourages a variety of sensory activities essential to the development of this age group. Our toddler care (for ages 12 to 36 months) helps children develop independence and acquire essential skills such as removing their shoes, using spoons, and other motor skills involving hand-eye coordination.

Preschool

Each child is different. We adapt our programs to find what works best for each child’s unique needs and development path. Our programs and services are designed to grow children’s social, cognitive, creative, physical, and emotional abilities.

For preschool-aged children (3 to 4 years in age), a range of skills will be taught. Most importantly, we want your child to love the learning process. Your child will learn to play independently and interact appropriately with their peers. They will also develop their language skills and enlarge their vocabulary by engaging with teachers and classmates through books, songs, and discussions.

Problem-solving also a plays a large part in the learning experience at A Child’s View Learning Centre. We will present situations to pique your child’s curiosity and allow them to think independently while applying their newly acquired skills. Allowing children to use their own social and cognitive skills strengthens their abilities and leads them to new discoveries.

Before & After School Programs

We understand the needs of parents. That is why we offer wonderful before- and after-school programs for Calgary school children. We also offer transportation to and from school, so your child’s safety is ensured each step of the way.

Parents gain the assurance that their child is safe, secure, and in the care of a licensed childcare provider, while the kids get to hang out at a “cool place” and meet all kinds of new friends. To kids, it may seem like all fun and games, but there is actually quite a bit of learning taking place as well. Before- and after-school programs assist children in developing a number of skills, including:

Out of School Care

Does your child prefer social interaction over textbooks, or vice-versa? Our out-of-school care in Calgary will give your son or daughter the opportunity to learn in a manner that works best for them.

Through the out-of-school care and transportation services of A Child’s View Learning Centre, we are giving Calgary school children the opportunity to learn outside the classroom. Structured and unstructured activities, both indoors and out, encourage children to behave appropriately, as well as develop their social skills. Through chaperoned trips, your child will also gain more insight into the city we call home.

Our out-of-school care program will help develop your child’s understanding of the arts, sciences, and teambuilding while affording distraction-free spaces to complete homework assignments. If your child is struggling at school, or they just have a question, we have teachers available to help further their understanding of various subjects.

While kids feed their minds through fun activities, we also encourage healthy, nutritional snacks to help them grow big and strong.
