We strongly encourage parents and guardians to do your own research, ask questions, obtain information, and schedule a tour prior to making a decision. CareFind helps you find child care, but does not endorse any child care providers. Welcome to Kidz Choice Preschool!

About Us:

Kidz Choice Preschool is a place where children gather together to make new friends, have fun and share new experiences. We believe that in God’s eyes each child is unique and special and we also believe that play is the foundation of preschool learning. We are community based and have a variety of programs for children aged 35 months to 5 years old. Learning is encouraged through chosen play activities that are developmentally appropriate for each child’s age and developmental stage. A teacher and 2 classroom assistants serve as facilitators to guide children in their interactions with a wide variety of learning opportunities.

We are located at 18 Hidden Creek Road NW in the Holy Trinity Anglican Church.

Vistor Policy:

New parents who are interested in viewing the classroom are asked to phone (403)274-9801 to make an appointment. Program viewing appointment times are between 9:30 and 10:15am and 1:30 and 2:15pm. Classroom viewing is limited to approximately 15 minutes.

Programs:

Tuesday/Thursday AM

This program is devoted and programmed for 3 year old children. Child must be 3 years old by October 1, 2019. Child must be potty trained or in the final stages of potty training.

Tuesday/Thursday PM

The same criteria applies as outlined above and in the 4 year old program. This program is designed to allow flexibility for families who have children of different ages and want to maximize the best use of their time. Child must be potty trained or in the final stages of potty training.

Monday/Wednesday/Friday AM or PM

The MWF programs are devoted and programmed for 3 year old children who will be attending Kindergarten in the fall and turning 4 before February 28 (February 28 is currently the cut-off date for attending Kindergarten in Alberta).

These programs offer a well-balanced schedule enriched with premath and early literacy combined with a learn through play component.

Meet the Director – Ms. Carla:

Born and raised in Calgary, Ms. Carla has always known that she was meant to work with children. Earning her Early Childhood Education and Development Diploma in 1993, she has worked in preschool, daycare and out of school care settings and also spent ten years running her own day home. Ms. Carla has a passion for serving children and their families and believes that all things are possible when you have faith, friends, family and fun! Although a little chocolate and chai tea now and then never hurts either! Ms. Carla feels very blessed to have the honour of working with an amazing team of staff members to create a fun and welcoming program for children.
