Parent Involvement: Parents must stay in the Vivo Facility during your child’s stay in Play Lab.
We follow a ratio of 1:6 infants (3mnths-18mnths), 1:8 (19mnth-3years), 1:13 (4years-9years), this is based on 3 staff in attendance. Ratios reduce as staff reduce.
Our child engagement service welcomes and includes all children and their abilities. Please make us aware of any disabilities or behavioral needs that may influence your child's participation. While our goal is to offer inclusiveness, there are times when a child requires more support than our current ratios or abilities are able to provide. We are willing to work alongside families and their supports in order to support a child in Play Lab. If required, it is the parent's responsibility to arrange for and provide the aids. Contact the Play Lab team lead to obtain the aid expectation information. Monica Ryan (403)567-4485 [email protected]
